Capacity Building in China
ELAR and ELDP are running a two week capacity building training at Yuxi Normal University, Yunnan China from October 23 – November 7. Thirty students from all over China have come to Yuxi for this training in language documentation theory and practice. The team delivering the training consists of Katia Chirkova, Jeremy Collins, Sophie Mu, Ross Perlin, Felix Rau and Mandana Seyfeddinipur.
Pictures 1-14 show the students during the training. Pictures 15-24 were taken on a trip to the Ethnic Minorities Museum at Yuxi Normal University.
